Will Do :

  • Manage many proposals.
  • Friendly and upbeat as the person in this position is often a “first impression” of our company to clients.
  • Willingness to learn by asking questions. Technical experience is not needed, but learning some basic terms and concepts from the technical staff and clients will be necessary.
  • Prioritize: It is crucial that the proposal manager be able to prioritize incoming and outgoing proposals.
  • Ability to be flexible with hours and can perform under pressure. As the number of proposal requests varies from week to week and from season to season, there will be slow periods and busy periods.
  • Has the ability to work within a system and recognizes that process is important.

Can Do :

  • Report Writing: This position requires a basic understanding of writing reports in regards to proper grammar and spelling. The proposal manager often edits proposals written by others and will need to catch formatting/grammatical errors.
  • Computer Skills: At least a basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook, will be necessary.
  • Client Service Experience: It is important that the proposal manager has had experience in a service oriented position.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
