We will be discussing how to develop a Reserve Funding policy for your community which provides both adequate funding and minimal risk. This program will include what a Reserve Study includes and how it works. The relationship between reserves, maintenance and structural adequacy will be discussed. Mitch Frumkin, President of Kipcon has headed up the national task forces which initially developed and recently updated the National Reserve Study Standards of the Community Associations. He currently co-chairs a task force which is reviewing these standards and their relationship to maintenance and structural adequacy.

Kipcon’s founder Mitchell H. Frumkin, PE, RS recently cochaired CAI’s recent Public Policy Task Force dealing with Building Maintenance and Structural Integrity and is currently speaking at a number of national programs on the topic of Building Safety.
He previously Chaired the Task Force which developed the National Reserve Study Standards of the Community Association Institute (CAI) as well as the Task Force which developed the Best Practices paper on Transition.
Seth Frumkin, President of Kipcon, is the eldest son of the company’s founder, Mitch Frumkin, PE, RS. Joining Kipcon in 2014 as a Project Manager, Seth has spent over a decade working on diverse projects for a wide range of clients, gaining valuable expertise and a unique perspective in the engineering field.
